The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle

 This series takes on a Twilight twist. Stephan Salvatore, a mind reading vegetarian vampire, is in love with Elena. Elena is perfect in every way. She is beautiful, she is a leader, and she is popular. Stephan’s brother, Damon, is very powerful and wants Elena all to himself.  He feels that Stephan betrayed him and wants revenge. Stephan’s love for Elena drives him to protect her and teach her how to protect herself the best she can. This is a Dangerous love triangle and Elena is caught in the middle. I started reading this book because I love the CW T.V Series that comes on every Thursday night at 7. I started noticing the similarities between the Vampire Diaries show and Twilight, so I decided to read the books. Of course the books are different from the T. V. show. However, I have enjoyed reading the books, and I still watch the show every Thursday!
